A brand new £1million lobby is created at the Holiday Inn in Oxford

The area is designed to provide guests with a space where they can eat, socialize and work at the hotel at Peartree Roundabout, North Oxford.

The separate reception, lobby, bar, lounge, restaurant and business center have now been merged into one space.

Gavin Webster, General Manager of the Holiday Inn Oxford hotel, said: “I am delighted to welcome guests to our brand new open reception area.

“There are so many options and areas to plug in or off that our business and travel travelers are going to love what we’ve got.

“The new lobby will also appeal to local Oxford residents and networking groups as a desirable space to meet, or just pop in for a Starbucks coffee at our new cafe.

“Customer satisfaction is a top priority for me and my team, and this renovation allows us to offer our best service with no barriers between us and customers.”

The lobby will improve the interaction between staff and guests, as reception teams at the front of the house can be more adaptable while guests use the space.

Key features include free high-speed Wi-Fi, a ‘To Go’ cafe where food and drink is available 24 hours a day, a versatile dining area with a range of seating from booths to high tables and bass, a lounge-style media lounge with comfortable seating, games, magazines and a TV and an E-Bar where guests can plug in with plenty of power outlets, a wireless printer and more.

Holiday Inn Oxford offers free on-site parking for hotel residents, free Wi-Fi, 24-hour room service, a mini gym and a restaurant.

The hotel is also very family friendly, where children can stay and eat for free.
