Disneyland Resort will once again transform into The Merriest Place on Earth for the holiday season, from November 11, 2022 to January 8, 2023! I, for one, can’t wait for so many treasured traditions to return – from sparkling holiday decor to “it’s a small world” vacation, the “Disney ¡Viva Navidad!” street party and seasonal food and drink. I’m already bubbling with excitement!
for all the magical details of what you can expect around the resort for
the holiday season ahead!
California Adventure Park
Disney California Adventure Park, the holiday decor will shine brightly, with a height of 50 feet
Christmas tree on Buena Vista Street and car holiday embellishment in
Land of cars.
The spectacular “World of Color – Season of Light” nighttime show will bring holiday magic by fusing cherished holiday music with memorable moments from treasured Disney animated films.
With energetic live entertainment, culinary delights and special traditions, the Disney Festival of Holidays will highlight a diverse celebratory season including Christmas/Navidad, Diwali, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa and Three Kings Day. Festival markets across the park will serve up an artisan menu of delicious food and drink. The fan-favorite Sip and Savour* pass will return to allow you to navigate your way through eight selections of food or non-alcoholic beverages at participating markets and restaurants. As part of the Disney Festival of Holidays, you can also catch holiday concerts every night on the Palisades Stage at Paradise Gardens Park.
The cheerful holiday lineup continues with “Mickey’s Happy Holidays,” a procession of Disney and Pixar characters dancing and marching to the driving beat of the Holiday Toy Drummers. The “Disney ¡Viva Navidad!” The street party also returns, featuring Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse dressed in festive party attire and accompanied by Mexican folk and Mariachi dancers, Brazilian samba dancers and drummers, and giant mojiganga puppets.
Returning to Paradise Gardens this year, you can choose to visit Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Encanto” Mirabel. And Santa Claus will once again take up residence in his rustic home on the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail.
Plus, the Christmas spirit will kick into high gear in Cars Land with two seasonal attraction makeovers: Luigi’s Joy to the Whirl and Mater’s Jingle Jamboree.
the park will also be adorned with festive holiday decor, including the iconic 60ft tall
Christmas Tree on Main Street, USA Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle
enchant from day to night with shimmering ice cubes and twinkling lights.
In the town square you can
meet favorite Disney characters on their greatest vacation
clothes, and some will debut brand new outfits!
Anna, Elsa and Olaf from “Frozen” by Walt Disney Animation Studios, along with Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Santa Claus and many other friends will celebrate the season in “A Christmas Fantasy” Parade, a daily musical procession of floats, marching toy soldiers, dancing gingerbread cookies and more.
In the evening, the festivities will continue with the spectacular “Believe…in Holiday Magic” fireworks display, which features magical “snowfalls” and colorful projections on Main Street, USA, and the facade of “it’s a small world “. Families can also dance with characters like Goofy, Pluto, Chip ‘n’ Dale and more at nightly dance parties at Tomorrowland Terrace.
Two beloved Disneyland attractions will return with fan-favorite seasonal makeovers. “it’s a small world” Holiday transports visitors from around the world in the form of dolls and toys representing children enjoying the distinctive holiday traditions of their respective countries. And in New Orleans Square, Jack Skellington and his friends collide between Christmas and Halloween to turn the Haunted Mansion into Haunted Mansion Holiday.**
