As Universal Orlando Resort has expanded its theme park offerings, guest interest has increased. Based on a higher percentage of people exploring Universal Orlando Resort, interest in accommodation options at and near Universal Orlando is growing. The Holiday Inn & Suites Across from Universal Orlando offers a nearby lodging option. What are the reasons to love this hotel option? I will offer five reasons.
- Proximity to Universal Orlando
As already mentioned, this hotel is near Universal Orlando. In fact, walking from this Holiday Inn to CityWalk takes about 15 minutes. I plan to create a photo report for the next month showing the effectiveness of this walk. Some Universal Orlando customers onsite are expressing frustration at having to walk through the main CityWalk security center. Guests of this Holiday Inn using the walkway enter through the valet security entrance avoiding the potential chaos of the main security center. If you choose to drive to Universal Orlando, it will only take a few minutes. If you use the regular shuttle service, you will arrive in a short time at the CityWalk drop-off area.
- Shuttle service to Universal Orlando
Speaking of shuttle service, guests staying here can book free transportation to and from Universal Orlando. If you are traveling without a car, you can use this method to avoid walking to Universal Orlando. Universal Orlando partner hotels provide transportation in the morning and round-trip transportation in the evening. In February 2022, most partner hotels offer three departures in the morning and three returns in the evening.
- Larger rooms
A common complaint about value-level rooms at Orlando-area theme park resorts is limited room space. This Holiday Inn offers decently sized standard rooms and suites. The suites can accommodate six (or more) people. For some photos of a suite, click here. If you have a larger group, these accommodation options should be considered.
- price point
The Holiday Inn & Suites Across from Universal Orlando generally offers lower room rates compared to value-level resort hotels at Universal Orlando. This potential benefit increases when comparing in-room amenities. You may find that you get more value for your vacation money staying here as opposed to an on-site Universal Orlando hotel.
- Unique in-room amenities
While these specific amenities won’t change your life, they can add some comfort to your stay. All rooms have a refrigerator and a Keurig in the room. Additionally, these coffee makers come with quality Keurig pods. Plus, you can bring your own to enjoy that special flavor of coffee you enjoy at home.
Plus, a quality work desk with a designated lamp provides a convenient space to be productive. This space also offers the possibility of moving it for the productivity of your group.
Yes, this hotel has a few flaws, as does the value and value of Universal Orlando Resort hotels. Some of these weaknesses will be covered in another article later.
Last thing, there is a Holiday Inn Express in the Kirkman Road area, but this hotel is further away, not having the same 5 reasons to like it. Be careful not to confuse this hotel when booking through your travel expert. Thanks for reading.
