IHG Hotels & Resorts announces signing of Holiday Inn in Dandenong

IHG Hotels & Resorts is delighted to continue its breakthrough in suburban and regional Victoria with the signing of Holiday Inn Dandenong with hotel owners, The Pelligra Group.

This will be IHG’s fifth hotel with the Pelligra Group, making it one of IHG’s largest owners in Australasia. This signifies the continued and successful partnership between the two groups, building on other hotels opened or signed, including the Holiday Inn Melbourne Airport, the brand new Holiday Inn Werribee and the upcoming Holiday Inn Melbourne Richmond and Crowne Plaza Melbourne Carlton.

Formerly the Ramada Encore by Wyndham Dandenong, the hotel will undergo a $10 million state-of-the-art renovation, before opening as a next-generation Holiday Inn in April 2022. Located approximately 30 kilometers from Melbourne, Holiday Inn Dandenong is intended to be a central hub for visitors to a growing area bustling with new infrastructure projects, major corporate headquarters, universities and potentially a new $110 million 15,00-seat sports stadium and events hub.
