IHG Hotels & Resorts announced the signing of Holiday Inn Dandenong with hotel owners, the Pelligra Group.
This will be IHG’s fifth hotel with the Pelligra Group, making it one of IHG’s largest owners in Australasia.
Formerly the Ramada Encore by Wyndham Dandenong, the hotel will undergo a state-of-the-art $ 10 million renovation, before opening as a next-generation Holiday Inn in April 2022. The new one continues the rapid growth of IHG in Victoria, following the opening of Holiday Inn Werribee and upcoming Holiday Inn openings in Geelong, Ringwood, Richmond, Bourke Street Mall and Ballarat in Melbourne.
Once open, the hotel’s 108 guest rooms will receive a major refurbishment and an additional 18 new guest rooms added, and the lobby will be completely transformed, incorporating Holiday Inn‘s state-of-the-art Open Lobby concept, designed to bring people together in a friendly environment.
Holiday Inn will add significant value to the property after the transformation, moving it from a limited-service hotel to an entirely renewed, full-service upper mid-range positioning under the much-loved and globally recognized Holiday Inn banner.
